Oberwood

Each house has its own story, and inside you will find many items with a history that are now used as decor or for another purpose. Oberwood has a domain with 5 wooden houses, located on the bank of the river Porumbacu, and 3 other houses in the heart of the village. Places that are ideal for an escape from the city and for authentic rural experiences. You can start with a breakfast of local products in the morning, continue by sunbathing on the riverbank, mountain hiking, horseback riding at a few kilometres’ distance, picking raspberries or riding the bike. In the evening you can get out in the street, “la talpiță” to watch the herd of buffalos and cows which, if you are curious, you can also milk. And if you want to learn how to make the cheese that you eat in the morning… that is also possible.
