Şerbota Peak – Căldarea Pietroasă a Negoiului – Şaua Cleopatrei

Marking:Yellow line on a white background

Full route name:  Şerbota Peak - Căldarea Pietroasă a Negoiului - Şaua Cleopatrei

A medium difficulty route, starting from Șerbota Peak and it is the overland route for a portion of Via Ferata named Custura Sărății, the hardest part of the Carpathians. The route marked with a yellow band descends on the depression trail and takes the hikers back up to the ridge toward Șaua Cleopatrei, and then toward Negoiu Peak, crossing two glacial thresholds. The route is a good alternative for hikers with less mountain experience.
