Dear hikers,
We invite you to join us from Friday to Saturday, 13-14 September, for a special night hike, with the goal of witnessing the sunrise from Negoiu Peak. This is a challenging hike with a 1400m elevation gain. Our route will be: Bâlea Lake – Paltinu Saddle – Laița Peak – Lăițel Peak – Călțun Lake – Călțun Gate – Strunga Doamnei – Negoiu Peak – Călțun Lake – Gligorea Path – Bâlea Lake, a spectacular and scenic ridge trail.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Friday, 13 September, 10:00 PM, at the Hervis parking lot – Shopping City Șelimbăr.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Ankle-high hiking boots (Note: Participants without proper boots will not be accepted)
Rain/wind jacket, in multiple layers
Thermal layer
Hat and gloves
Rain poncho
Cap/sun protection
Charged headlamp + spare batteries
Water bottle (min. 1L)
Food

70 lei/person
Participation is free for children under 14, provided they are accompanied by an adult. The hike will be held with a maximum of 20 participants.
TRANSPORTATION

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

I declare under my own responsibility that, to the best of my knowledge, I am physically capable of sustained physical effort during hiking events without jeopardizing my health in any way. My participation in this event is entirely voluntary, understanding the associated risks to which I expose myself.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
