“High Up on the Jina Mountain” Festival
One of the oldest festivals organized in the Mărginime villages, “High Up on the Jina Mountain” is a folk festival reminding of the old feasts of the shepherds from the area. It aims to maintain and valorise traditions and customs, the songs and dancing of the people from Jina, as well as their way of life. The festival brings together artistic groups with pastoral traditions from several areas of the country.
