Dear hiker,
We invite you to a summer afternoon dedicated to women, with cool forests, gentle hills, beautiful landscapes and golden evening light.
We will start from Hosman and walk through the shady, cool forests towards Fofeldea, before heading out onto the open ridges of the Hârtibaciu Valley, where we hope to capture one of the most beautiful moments of the day – Golden Hour.
It will be a relaxed hike, with time for photos, stories, good cheer and a special atmosphere.
During the same period, the Holzstock Festival is also taking place in Hosman, and those who wish can optionally continue their evening in the festival atmosphere.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 22 August 2026, at 13:00.
Meeting point: Str. Ștefan cel Mare – Trei Stejari area, near the Profi store, Sibiu.
We will group ourselves in personal cars and set off together towards Hosman. We will park near the Fortified Church, where we will begin the hike.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Distance: approximately 14–16 km.
Elevation gain: 250–300 m
Route difficulty: easy to moderate
Hiking duration: 5–6 hours
Experience duration: 7+ hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Spare T-shirt, trousers and socks, hiking boots, rain poncho, cap, sunscreen, insect repellent spray, minimum 1.5 litres of water, sandwich and/or snacks for the route, whistle, headlamp, magnesium and calcium, if you normally use them.
We recommend dressing in layers, as the afternoon can be warm, while in the evening the temperatures become more pleasant and cooler.
COSTS
Participation in the hike:
- 80 lei/adult
- 40 lei/minor
Optional – Holzstock Festival:
- Festival ticket: 100 lei/person
- Children under 14: free admission
Participation in the festival is optional and is not included in the cost of the hike.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
