Dear hiker,
On January 24th, on the occasion of the Little Union Day, we celebrate in a truly Romanian way, in nature, through a special winter hike set in a peaceful and authentic landscape. We will walk through dense forests and gentle ridges wrapped in the quiet of the cold season, discovering a true land of oaks, home to some of the most impressive centuries-old oak trees in the county.
The route will reward us with wide panoramas over the Făgăraș Mountains and across the vast Transylvanian Plateau, landscapes that gain a special kind of beauty in winter.
At the end, we will stop at the Horses’ Paradise, where we will mark this symbolic day in a traditional style, with a hot cauldron meal, an open fire, warm drinks, and stories shared by the fire. A celebration of unity, nature, and the joy of being together, just as it was lived in times past.
