A hike with spectacular views, a local guide, and an adorable Samoyed as your trail companion.
Join us for a special hike in the heart of the Cindrel Mountains, along the Păltiniș – Bătrâna Peak route, during one of the most magical times of day: sunset. This is a medium-intensity hike, suitable for adults and children over 14 years old, with good physical condition and a love for nature.
The trail takes us through cool forests and wide meadows, and the panoramic view from the summit — when the sky is painted in warm hues of orange and pink — is an image that stays with you long after you return home.
This is the kind of hike that stays in your soul: fresh air, the scent of pine, golden rays embracing the peaks, and a quiet that you can only find high up in the mountains.
Plus, you won’t be accompanied only by the local guide, but also by Hopi, a friendly, gentle Samoyed dog who’s always ready to lift your spirits. He’s the perfect “assistant guide,” especially for those who love animals and hiking alike.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
High-ankle hiking boots, headlamp + flashlight, long pants, spare t-shirt, rain poncho, hiking poles (recommended), waterproof jacket and pants, hat (highly recommended!), gloves, water bottle (at least 1 liter), whistle, food, energy bars.
COSTS
Adult – 80 RON
Child – 40 RON
Minimum age – 14 years. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
Minimum number of participants: 6
Children over 14 years old can participate if accompanied by a parent who is responsible for assessing the trail difficulty for their child.
TRANSPORTATION
Transport is self-organized, with costs covered by each participant. If you want to join the hike but don’t have a car, you can contact the guide after purchasing your ticket to be put in touch with other participants who may have extra space.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
