Dear hiker,
Come discover Țara Colibelor (the Land of the Huts) on a hike with spectacular scenery alongside Nico, following the picturesque trails of the “Burduf Challenge” marathon course! We’ll pass through traditional landscapes, scattered huts, and peaceful meadows, all while enjoying the tranquility of the mountains.
At the end, we’ll stop at Grandma Maria’s hut, where a special lunch awaits: a tasting of hot local delicacies and a mountain coffee, all accompanied by stories and good cheer in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Saturday, 28.06.25 from 9:00 AM, departing from Sibiu
Meeting point: Kaufland Shopping City Șelimbăr parking lot, traveling by personal cars to Rău Sadului village.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
change of t-shirts and socks, high-ankle mountain boots, small daypack, cap, rain poncho, jacket, hiking poles (recommended), sun cap, sunscreen, insect spray, headlamp, whistle, water bottle (min 1 liter), snack for the trail

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
