Dear hiker,
We invite you to join us for a light spring hike—an escape from the city’s pollution and an opportunity to explore the forests and hills of the Cindrel Mountains. Together, we’ll set off from the Păltiniș resort and head toward Lake Negovanu and Gâtul Berbecului Cabin, where you’ll discover the unique culture of the mountain hut through the stories of our guide.
Our experienced guide will surprise you with fascinating insights about the Cindrel Mountains, the trail, and the local traditions. The group will also enjoy a 4K photo session, using both a professional camera and a drone. Along the route, children will be accompanied by a dedicated guide who will explain, in a fun and easy-to-understand way, things about the mountains, the necessary gear, the animals they might encounter, and much more.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?

Meeting point: Main parking lot at Zoo Sibiu (Jacobs parking)
From the meeting point, we’ll head together to Păltiniș. There are limited seats available in the organizers’ cars, so we’ll group up for transport. Those coming with their own cars will travel separately but in a coordinated manner.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
