Dear nature lover,
On a day of traditional Romanian celebration, Adela and Gio invite you to step onto a path that connects not only two villages, but two worlds: Cisnădioara and Rășinari, in an experience about multiculturalism, traditions, and the authentic rhythm of the place.
We set off at 11:00 from Agora Cisnădioara, on the path that crosses the hills between the Saxon communities and those of Mărginimea Sibiului. It is an easy route, suitable for connection, storytelling, and observation. We will talk about coexistence, about how cultures settled in the same space and gave birth to a living heritage. We will share stories about the village, traditions, and local architecture.
We arrive in Rășinari around 12:30, where a moment of rest and flavor awaits us: a tasting of local products from @dinMarginime, simple, just like the local people, and suitable for fasting, in keeping with this period of the year.
We then visit the Holy Trinity Church, and further on we step into a rare moment: the Viftania tradition. You will see the cãlușari and priests in a ritual that brings the community together. Willow branches are blessed, then taken and placed in churches and at graves as a gesture of continuity and faith.
In the afternoon we head back to Cisnădioara, following the same thread of story, and the day ends at Agora, where we will visit a small fair of local producers.
It is not just a hike, but a true passage from one village to another… and a little closer to yourself.

– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
