Dear lovers of #LiberInAerLiber (Free in the open air),
We invite you to a new trail running tour in Mărginimea Sibiului, on the Rășinari – Fraga route.
We will run on one of the most beautiful routes near Sibiu, crossing forests and areas with spectacular panoramas over Mărginimea. The route is suitable for runners who already have minimum experience in mountain running and a good level of physical fitness.
We will enjoy movement, nature and the atmosphere of an active community, in a relaxed and friendly tour, without the pressure of competition.

WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet at 17:30, in the parking lot of Jacob’s Grillhouse Restaurant (near Sibiu Zoo).

Distance: 8 km
Elevation gain: +500 m
Route difficulty: medium
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Mountain running shoes, with good grip – no hiking boots!
Minimum 300 ml of water.
Depending on weather conditions:
- Windbreaker
- Running vest
- Energy bars or gels
In case of rain:
- Waterproof running jacket
COSTS
The trail running activity is free of charge and takes place in partnership with Sibiu Mountain Sports Club.

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
