Dear hikers,
We will start from Valea Avrigului towards Poiana Neamțului, and we will turn right at Gura Jibrii towards Izvorul Florii. We will continue along the valley, passing Cabana Anna Charisma, and, after parking, we will begin a climb to the right, which will take us to the trail that goes up towards Cabana Suru on Muchia Moașei.
We will make a short stop at the hut to catch our breath, then continue the climb towards the Mountain Rescue Monument. From here, we will choose the direct route to Suru to reach the peak, but we will return on the summer route through Găvan.
Once back at the hut, we will make a longer stop this time, to eat something warm from the hut’s menu, then we will descend towards the place where we left the cars, on almost the same route (only the loop from the trail towards Izvorul Florii will be different from the one we climbed on).
The hike is suitable for people with an average or good level of physical fitness and for children aged at least 10 who have mountain experience.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet at 08:00, in the DECATHLON parking lot, in Shopping City. From there, we will travel by personal cars on the route: Sibiu – Avrig – Gura Jibrii – Izvorul Florii, where we will park the cars as high up the valley as possible, if possible even at Izvorul Florii.

Distance: 15 km
Elevation gain: 1420 m
Route difficulty: medium/difficult
Hiking duration: approximately 10 hours, including breaks.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
High hiking boots, with good grip, snow-resistant and waterproof.
Clothing adapted to the season, including a waterproof outer layer; spare T-shirt or base layer; polar / fleece, windstopper or waterproof jacket.
Small day backpack, bottle with warm tea / water, minimum 1–1.5 l, sunglasses;
Snack for the breaks on the route.
Trekking poles can be very helpful, especially on the ascent.
TRANSPORTATION
We can provide round-trip transportation for a limited number of people. To reserve your place, please contact us by phone at 0722-177001, after completing the registration.
After the registration process is completed, the guide will create a WhatsApp group where we will organize / redistribute ourselves in the cars of those coming by car. Their transportation costs will be covered jointly by the occupants of that car.
COSTS
Costs: 90 lei/adult, 50 lei/student or pupil over 14 years old, 30 lei/child between 10 and 14 years old.
The tour will take place with a minimum of 10 adult participants.
Children aged 10 and over may participate, provided that they have mountain hiking experience and that each of them is accompanied by an adult; parents are responsible for assessing the difficulty of the route for children.

– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
