Dear hikers,
On Sunday, February 16, we will enjoy a beautiful day, explore various ecosystems, and have a fish soup!
We start from the center of Mediaș, quickly climb up the hill, pass through two pasture-forest areas (an ecosystem mainly found here in southern Transylvania), admire a young forest, and then enjoy a fish soup or roe salad at Cherhana Denisa.
The total distance is 8 km, of which 2 km are through the city, and the rest through nature.
If we’re lucky, we might even see deer!
This hike is also suitable for families and little (but strong) legs.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
12:00 PM, in front of the Synagogue in Mediaș.
Cars can be parked in the parking lot in front of the Synagogue.

Trail difficulty: easy
Distance: 8 km one way (we return by taxi – about 10 lei per person)
Elevation gain: 60 m
Total hiking duration: 4-5 hours (the trail, done only by adults, takes 2 hours one way)

EARLY BIRD 70 lei/adult (includes guidance) – for tickets purchased by February 14 (inclusive)
90 lei/adult (includes guidance) – for tickets purchased between February 15-16
20 lei/adolescent (15-18 years old)
Children up to 14 years old participate for free
The number of available spots is limited to 20 people.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
