Dear hikers,
We will start from the Păltiniș Hermitage (where we will park) and continue on the road passing through Trecătoarea Cerbilor until we reach the red stripe marking. From there, we will descend to the right on the Students’ Path, then, before reaching the road that goes down into the Cibin Gorges, we will climb again to the right toward Arena Păltiniș.
From there, we will return to the place where we parked the cars.
This hike is suitable for people with a minimum level of fitness and for children aged at least 5, who have been on hikes before.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet in the morning, at 10:00, in the parking lot of Pensiunea Dumbrava Sibiului, next to the Hilton Hotel.
From there, we will drive with personal cars on the route Sibiu – Păltiniș, where we will park at the Hermitage around 11:00.

Hike duration: approx. 4 – 4.5 hours (including a short snack break on the trail)
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots with good grip, resistant to water/snow
Season-appropriate clothing: technical base layer, fleece, and a waterproof/windproof outer layer; spare T-shirt or base layer; hat and gloves; gaiters (if you have them)
Small daypack, sunglasses
Water/tea, minimum 1.5 l
Snack for the trail
Trekking poles can be helpful.
TRANSPORTATION
We can provide round-trip transport for a limited number of people. To reserve a spot, please contact us by phone at 0722-177001 after completing your registration.
After registration, the guide will create a WhatsApp group where we will organize and redistribute participants into available cars. The transport cost will be shared among the occupants of each car, as agreed with the driver.
COSTS
80 lei/adult; 40 lei/student or pupil; 20 lei/child under 12 years.
The hike will take place with a minimum of 8 adult participants.
Children aged 5 and up may participate if accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing whether the difficulty level is appropriate for their child.

– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
