Dear hikers,
We invite you on a Sunday hike to Cabana Suru, a place with special energy and an exceptional host.
We won’t rush. We’ll climb while admiring the spectacular show offered by nature. We’ll walk on a carpet of rustling leaves, breathe in the fresh forest air deeply, and enjoy every view the trail opens toward the ridges.
This hike is all about the joy of being on the mountain — about the pleasant effort of the ascent, knowing that at the end a reward awaits us.
And what a reward it is! It’s that comforting feeling of being “home,” even at 2133 meters altitude, where a hot cup of mountain flower tea or a warm soup will heat both body and soul.

Mountain boots, long pants; Water bottle (minimum 2L); Rain/wind jacket, in multiple layers; Hat/buff; Spare shirt; Snacks (sandwiches, bars, fruits).

TRANSPORTATION
Transport will be done individually, and each participant will cover their own costs. If you wish to join the hike but do not have a car, after purchasing your ticket, you can contact the guide to be put in touch with other participants who might offer you a ride.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
