Dear hikers,
We invite you to a dedicated hike in the Cindrel Mountains. This is a medium-difficulty route with an elevation gain of +400 m and a descent of -1300 m. The trail we will follow is: Păltiniș – Vf. Oncești – Poiana Lupilor – Poiana Tomnatic – Dosu Albului – Vf. Derjani – MGS Cabin – Valea Caselor – Rășinari, a mostly downhill, picturesque route with many panoramic viewpoints.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 29.11.25, TURSIB bus station – Sibiu Train Station – 6:45 AM. We will leave at 7:00 AM with the bus to Păltiniș.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots (waterproof, above the ankle)
Gaiters
Season-appropriate clothing, layered
Thermal layer
Buff/hat/gloves
Headlamp (charged!)
Sunglasses
Bottle with tea/water (min. 1L)
Food, fruits, etc.
Recommended: trekking poles
COSTS
80 lei/person
Children up to 14 years old participate for free if accompanied by an adult. The tour will take place with a maximum of 20 participants.

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
