Dear Hikers,
We invite you to a hike dedicated to “Little Mountaineers” on Sunday, 07.07.2024 – Hike in the Făgăraș Mountains: Șerbota Waterfall, Dragon’s Path, Goat’s Rock. The hike is of medium difficulty with an elevation gain of 1000 m.
The route we will follow is:
V. Porumbacului/Quarry – Șerbota Waterfall – Negoiu Cabin – Dragon’s Path – Goat’s Rock – return
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
At 08:00 AM, in the Hervis store parking lot – Shopping City Șelimbăr
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots (waterproof, above the ankle)
1 change of shirt
Sun hat
Rain/wind clothes in multiple layers
Thermal layer
Raincoat
Sun protection
Bottle with tea/water (min 1l)
Food
Snacks
Fruits
Recommended: trekking poles
COSTS
70 lei per person
For children up to 14 years old, participation is free if accompanied by an adult. The tour will be held with a maximum of 20 participants.
TRANSPORTATION

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

I declare under my own responsibility that, to the best of my knowledge, I am physically capable of sustained physical effort during hiking events without jeopardizing my health in any way. The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
