Dear hikers,
We invite you to a hike dedicated to the Little Mountaineers, but not only!
We propose a spectacular and picturesque route in the Bâlea – Capra area, on the southern slope of the Făgăraș Mountains. Along the circuit, we will enjoy numerous viewpoints, with impressive panoramas in all directions. The route is suitable both for families with children who are accustomed to mountain hiking and for all nature lovers who wish to spend a day in the heart of the Făgăraș Mountains.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?

We meet at 08:00, in the HERVIS store parking lot – Shopping City Șelimbăr, from where we will travel by personal cars towards the Bâlea area.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Route difficulty: medium
Elevation gain: approximately 950 m
Hiking duration: approximately 7–8 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Mountain boots above the ankle;
- Clothing adapted to the season, in several layers;
- Thermal layer;
- Thin hat;
- Thin gloves;
- Buff;
- Rain poncho;
- Cap for sun protection;
- Water bottle (minimum 1 litre);
- Sandwiches and snacks.
Recommended:
- Trekking poles.
COSTS
80 lei/person
Participation is free of charge for children up to 14 years old, if accompanied by an adult.
The maximum number of participants is 20.

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
