Dear hikers,
We invite you to a hike dedicated to the Little Mountaineers in the Făgăraș Mountains: Suru Hut and the Mountain Rescuers Monument. The hike is of medium difficulty, with an elevation gain of 850 m. The route we will follow is: Izvorul Florii – Suru Hut – Mountain Rescuers Monument – return, this route offering a superb view of the Olt Valley, Suru Peak, and the Sibiu Depression.

Hervis – Shopping City Șelimbăr – at 08:00.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
mountain boots – waterproof and over the ankle seasonal clothing, in several layers thermal layer buff/hat/cap gloves gaiters sunglasses and sunscreen bottle of tea/water (min 1l) food
Recommended: trekking poles
COSTS
80 lei/person
For children up to 14 years old, participation is free, if accompanied by an adult. The tour will be held with a maximum of 20 participants.
TRANSPORTATION

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
