Dear Hikers,
Join us for a scenic hike starting from Valea Sadului, following the new Blue Cross trail (CR) up to the Mountain Cabin, where our hosts will greet us with a delicious soup, tea, and coffee. After enjoying the meal, we will descend eastward along the Blue Stripe trail (PA) towards Valea Morii, where we will wait for the drivers to retrieve their cars from the starting point and return.
This hike is suitable for individuals with a reasonable level of fitness and for children aged 8 and up who have experience with trails featuring elevation changes.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Decathlon parking lot, Shopping City Șelimbăr
From there, we will carpool along the route: Sibiu – Cisnădie – Valea Morii, where we’ll leave one or two cars as needed. The rest of the cars will proceed to Sadu, where we will park in a designated area near Căsuța Basmelor, just before entering Râu Sadului.

Duration: Approximately 6.5–7 hours, including a 1.5-hour break at the Mountain Cabin
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots with good traction, suitable for snow
Season-appropriate clothing: thermal base layer, fleece, waterproof and wind-resistant outer layer
Spare shirt or base layer, hat, gloves, and gaiters
Small daypack, sunglasses
Bottle of water/tea (minimum 1 liter)
Trail snacks (we recommend pastries and something sweet like chocolate or energy bars)
Trekking poles (highly recommended)
TRANSPORTATION
Limited round-trip transportation can be arranged. To reserve a seat, please call 0722-177001 after registration.
After registering, the guide will create a WhatsApp group to coordinate carpooling. Transport costs will be shared among passengers in agreement with the driver.
COSTS
70 RON/adult or child over 14 years
Free for children aged 8–14
The hike will proceed with a minimum of 10 adult participants.

– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
