Dear hiker,
We propose a special day in Rășinari built around a name that carried the village further into Europe: Octavian Goga.
Georgiana Tara invites you to a guided experience that begins in the village center and gradually unfolds between culture, nature, and encounters with local people.
First, we discover the Rășinari Ethnographic Museum, where you understand how everyday life was built here, through households, work, and traditions.
We continue with a visit to the Goga House, opened especially for Goga Days, where the stories are told from within, by one of his great-grandchildren.
After the cultural part, we gather around the table in a local household for brunch, prepared with the traditional flavors of the great poet’s village!
We will enjoy our steps on an easy hike through Rășinari, a village recognized as a Best Tourism Village by the World Tourism Organization, and climb above it for a perspective that connects the place with the mountain and the community.
We meet in Rășinari, at the Cultural Center.
We set off toward the Ethnographic Museum and the birthplace of poet Octavian Goga, complete the experience with a local brunch, then head out on an easy hike above the village.
