Dear hikers,
We will head toward Florești (where we will park) and follow the Via Transilvanica trail toward Mălâncrav. We will take a break at the Lutheran fortified church and the Apafi Mansion, then continue—initially eastward and later north—toward Criș. Once there, we will take the opportunity to visit Bethlen Castle, currently undergoing restoration.
This hike is suitable for people with a minimum level of physical fitness and for children aged 8 and above who have previously completed medium-length routes.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet in the morning at 8:00 in the Kaufland parking lot on Calea Șurii Mari.
From there, we will travel with personal cars on the route: Sibiu – Mediaș – Florești, where we will drop off the passengers, then drive the cars to Criș, the end point of the hike.

Hiking duration: approximately 7–8 hours (including breaks)
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots with good grip and waterproofing
Season-appropriate clothing: technical base layer, fleece, and a waterproof/windproof outer layer; spare shirt or base layer; hat and gloves
Small daypack. Water/tea (minimum 1.5 l)
Snacks for the trail. Trekking poles can be very helpful
TRANSPORTATION
We can provide round-trip transport for a limited number of participants. To reserve a spot, please contact us by phone at 0722-177001 after completing registration.
After the registration process is completed, the guide will create a WhatsApp group where we will organize and redistribute participants into cars. Transport costs will be shared among the passengers of each car (approx. 40 lei/person).
COSTS
80 lei/adult; 40 lei/student or pupil; 20 lei/child under 12 years.
The hike will take place with a minimum of 8 adult participants.
Children aged 5 and above may participate if accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for determining whether the route is appropriate for their children.

– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
