Dear hikers,
On Saturday, March 29, we will enjoy the spring on a hike in the hilly area of Mediaș.
We will follow a loop trail starting from the historic center of Mediaș, which will take us around the Greweln Valley, stopping for a session to admire the Făgăraș Mountains (if the weather is clear) and for a wild garlic foraging session. We hope to also find some mushrooms – for admiring or eating.

10:00 AM, at the entrance of Roth High School / Evangelical Church St. Margaret
There are 10 parking spots available.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Route difficulty: easy but long;
Distance: 9 km (from the city center)
Elevation gain: 284 m;
Total duration of the hike: approximately 3 hours (the adult-only route lasts 2 hours).
Minimum recommended age for children: 8 years
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots;
Water bottle;
Snacks.
Optional: trekking poles
COSTS
Early bird price (available until March 28, inclusive): 80 lei/person. Includes guiding.
Child price (15 – 18 years old): 30 lei
Price: 95 lei/person (available on March 29 and 30). Includes guiding.
Children up to 14 years old have free access.
The number of available spots is limited to 20 people.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
