Dear hikers,
We will start from the center of Rășinari village, where we will park the cars and head gently uphill, first to the northeast and then southeast, towards Catrina Forest. We will cross the forest and continue towards the roadside cross between Cisnădioara and Rășinari. After a short break in the woods, we will return on the trail that descends along the PR/G hill marking back to Rășinari.
The hike is suitable for participants with a minimum level of fitness and for children over 5 years old who can handle medium-length routes.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We will meet on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 9:30 AM, in the parking lot of Pensiunea Dumbrava Sibiului, next to the Hilton Hotel.
From there, we will drive with personal cars along the route Sibiu – Rășinari, then up the Valea Caselor, and we will park around 10:15 AM.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking boots with good traction
Weather-appropriate clothing, including a waterproof outer layer; spare shirt or base layer
Small daypack
Hat and gloves, sunglasses
Water or tea bottle, at least 1.5 liters
Snacks for trail breaks. At Căsuța MGS, you can enjoy refreshments if it is open.
Trekking poles are recommended.
TRANSPORTATION
We can provide round-trip transport for a limited number of participants. To reserve a seat, please contact us by phone at 0722-177001 after registering.
After registration, the guide will create a WhatsApp group for organization and car-sharing coordination. Transport costs will be shared among passengers according to each car.
COSTS
80 lei/adult; 40 lei/student; 20 lei/child under 10 years old.
The hike will take place with a minimum of 10 adult participants.
Children aged 5 and above may join, provided they are accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing whether the hike’s difficulty suits their children.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
