Dear hikers,
We invite you to a hike dedicated to children, mothers and fathers, with the theme “In search of June porcini mushrooms”, an experience where nature, adventure and discovery go hand in hand.
We will set off together on mountain and forest trails, on a guided hike where the little ones will have the opportunity to explore, observe and learn more about the fascinating world of mushrooms and forest creatures. With a little luck, we will discover the first porcini mushrooms of the summer, hidden among moss and leaves, and we will learn to recognize them in their natural habitat.
Along the way, we will enjoy fresh air, mountain stories and time spent together, at a pace suitable for families with children. It will be a day about curiosity, play, movement and connecting with nature.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?

For participants who do not have their own transport, the meeting point is the parking lot of Thalia Hall in Sibiu, at 09:00, from where we will leave together towards the hiking area.
Those who prefer to come by personal car can join us at the Chairlift in Păltiniș, at 10:30, the place from where we will begin exploring the forest.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Waterproof mountain boots
Clothing adapted to the season, in several layers
Thermal layer
Buff and gloves
Spare T-shirt and socks
Bottle with water or tea (minimum 1 litre)
Food and fruit for the route
Recommended:
Trekking poles
COSTS
80 lei/person for guiding and instruction.
For children up to 14 years old, the participation cost is 50 lei, if accompanied by an adult.

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

I acknowledge that the photos may be used for promotional purposes, both online and in printed materials, within the “Anii Drumeției” Program to promote it. I declare under my own responsibility that, to the best of my knowledge, I am physically capable of sustained physical effort during hiking events without jeopardizing my health in any way. My participation in this event is entirely voluntary, understanding the associated risks to which I expose myself.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
