Dear hikers,
Sunday, 14 June, we invite you to a short but lovely walk on the hills of Dupuș!
We will go to the Târnava Hills area and from the village center we will easily reach the top, so we can admire everything, including the mountains. It will be a 5 km hike, with breaks to catch our breath, take photos and also enjoy sandwiches!
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Meeting in Dupuș: 9:30, next to the fortified church
Meeting in Mediaș: 9:00, in the Mediaș Train Station parking lot

Route difficulty: easy (with many breaks for observing plants and gathering)
Distance: around 6 km
Elevation gain: 100 m;
Total hiking duration: 3 hours
Minimum recommended age for participation: 8 years

70 lei/person – the price includes guiding
The hike takes place with a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 16 people
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is the responsibility of each participant and is arranged individually.
Those coming by train to Mediaș can contact the organizers to discuss transportation on the route Mediaș – Dupuș and back.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
