We start from Valea Săliștei.
The trail takes us through the forest, where the light plays among the leaves, and then we spend a few quiet moments at Foltea Hermitage.
After the climb, we reach Poiana Soarelui – an open-air museum featuring monumental wooden sculptures created four decades ago.
Here, art and nature embrace each other.
A place of tranquillity, stories and a healing spring.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Mountain boots above the ankle, headlamp + flashlight, long trousers, spare T-shirt, rain poncho, hiking poles (recommended), waterproof jacket and trousers, hat (recommended!), gloves, water bottle minimum 1 litre, whistle, food, energy bars.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
