Dear hiker,
We invite you onto the road of wine and Saxon stories, on a hike with a fairytale feel, along a route full of charm and history, in the heart of Transylvania. We set off from Biertan, one of the most picturesque Saxon villages in Romania, watched over by its imposing fortified church – a UNESCO monument and a symbol of harmony between people and nature.
We climb gently along the Via Transilvanica, following the old wine road that winds over terraced hills, once covered with vineyards. As we gain altitude, spectacular panoramas open up before us over Biertan, with its medieval towers, reddish rooftops, and the stillness that seems untouched by time.
The road leads us through meadows and gentle forests, at an easy pace, perfect for stories and photographs. In the end, we arrive in Richiș, a village with a special charm, where we visit the Evangelical church, renowned for its mysterious carvings and distinctive atmosphere.
This hike is a return to simplicity and tradition, a journey through dreamlike landscapes and living history.

– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
