Dear nature and hiking lovers,
We invite you to discover a route that we are proposing for the first time, starting from one of the most picturesque villages in Mărginimea Sibiului: Fântânele (Cacova Sibiului).
This hike brings together history-filled stories, the charm of nature reborn at the beginning of spring, and the spectacular landscapes of hay meadows dotted with the traditional huts of Mărginimea.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet on Saturday, at 9:00, in the parking lot next to Cabana Valea Aurie, from where we will leave grouped in cars toward Fântânele.

Hiking duration: 5–6 hours.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
hiking boots, hiking pants suitable for the season, technical base layer made of synthetic material or merino wool, fleece, windproof and/or waterproof jacket, cap or hat, backpack with a spare top, water (1.5 l), and food for a picnic.
TRANSPORTATION
We offer free transportation for up to 8 people on a first come, first served basis. Seat allocation and confirmation in the minibus will be made after purchasing the participation ticket, through a message sent to the guide.
COSTS
80 RON/adult, 30 RON/child up to 14 years old.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
