Dear hikers,
We set off on this hike curious and eager to explore and push our limits.
The climb up to Cabana Bărcaciu offers spectacular autumn landscapes, time for reflection, and connection with nature and fellow hikers.
It’s a hike that may challenge beginners, but one they will surely complete successfully.
Once at the top, we’ll enjoy the view, share stories, and savor a cup of mountain herbal tea prepared by our cabin hosts.

Elevation gain: + / – 1200 m
Trail difficulty: HARD
Hike duration: 8 hours (including breaks)
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Mountain boots, long pants; Water bottle (minimum 2L); Rain/wind jacket, in multiple layers; Hat/buff; Spare shirt; Snacks (sandwiches, bars, fruits).

TRANSPORTATION
Transport will be done individually, with each participant covering their own costs. If you wish to join the hike but do not have a car, after purchasing your ticket you can contact the guide to be connected with other participants who might offer you a ride.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
