Dear hikers,
We will set off from the intersection of Călugăru Road with DJ106, the road connecting Sibiu to Păltiniș, toward Poiana Pensionarilor, following the TA marking. We will take a break of about 20 minutes there, for rest, hydration, and a small snack. After enjoying the wonderful view from the meadow toward Măgura Peak and Prejba, we will climb about another 50 m to the ridge of the hill, then descend on an unmarked path toward Mărăjdie, at the exit from Gura Râului toward Păltiniș.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet at 17:30, in the parking lot of Pensiunea Dumbrava Sibiului, near the Hilton Hotel
From there we will travel by personal cars toward Rășinari and then to the intersection with Călugăru Road, where we will drop off the hikers, then take the cars to the end point of the route. The drivers will return to the group and we will start the hike.

Hiking duration: approximately 2.5–3 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Waterproof hiking shoes with good grip;
Season-appropriate clothing, including a final waterproof layer;
Small daypack;
Spare T-shirt or base layer;
Cap / hat, sunglasses;
Water bottle, minimum 1–1.5 l.;
A sandwich or something else to eat if you have not eaten before departure, an energy bar or a piece of fruit.
Trekking poles can be helpful.
TRANSPORTATION
We can provide round-trip transportation for a limited number of people. To reserve a seat, please contact us by phone at 0722-177001 after completing the registration.
After the registration process is completed, the guide will create a WhatsApp group where we will organize and redistribute participants among the cars of those coming by car. Transportation costs will be shared jointly by the occupants of each respective car.
COSTS
50 RON/adult, 20 RON/child, pupil or student.
The hike will take place with a minimum of 8 adult participants. Children between 5 and 14 years old may participate, provided each child is accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing the difficulty of the route for their children.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
