Dear hikers,
We invite you to an evening hike in the Cindrel Mountains, where we will enjoy together one of the most beautiful spectacles of summer: the sunset viewed from the mountain ridges, followed by a descent by headlamp.
We will start from the Oncești Chairlift and climb towards Poiana Găujoara, on an easy route suitable both for those who are new to hiking and for families with children. While admiring the sunset, we will stop to enjoy a warm tea and a small snack, then prepare for the descent in the dark, guided by the light of our headlamps.
We will enjoy the final rays of sunlight, and towards the end of the hike we will have the opportunity to admire the first stars appearing in the sky and, with a little luck, even a few shooting stars.
The hike is suitable for people with no mountain hiking experience and for children over 7 years old, accompanied by an adult.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Friday, at 18:00, in Păltiniș, at the Oncești Chairlift, where we will begin the hike.

Distance: 7 km
Elevation gain/loss: +380 m / -380 m
Route difficulty: easy
Hiking duration: approximately 3.5–4 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Headlamp (mandatory);
- Mountain boots;
- Hat or buff;
- Waterproof and wind-resistant clothing;
- Jacket;
- Day backpack;
- Thermos with tea;
- Water bottle (minimum 1.5 l);
- Snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, fruit).
COSTS
Early Bird: 75 lei/person (until 6 August)
Full Price: 90 lei/person (on the day of the event)
Children (up to 14 years old): 40 lei
The hike will take place with a minimum of 6 participants.
Children up to 15 years old benefit from a reduced rate and may participate only if accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing the difficulty of the route according to their children’s level of preparation.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
