Dear hikers,
We set off from the village of Poplaca, on green and cool paths, through the scent of spring flowers, toward Poiana Pensionarilor. We will take a break of about 20 minutes there, for rest, hydration, and a small snack. After admiring the wonderful view from the meadow toward the Cindrel and Lotru Mountains, we will get ready to return along the same path we climbed.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet at 18:00, at the exit of Sibiu, in Valea Aurie. From there we will group up and travel by personal cars toward Poplaca, where we will park the cars.

Distance: 7 km
Elevation gain: positive 350 meters
Trail difficulty: low
Hiking duration: approximately 2.5–3 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking shoes with good grip;
Season-appropriate clothing, including a waterproof layer;
Small daypack (20 liters);
Spare T-shirt or base layer;
Cap / hat, sunglasses;
Water bottle, minimum 1–1.5 l.;
Snacks, an energy bar, fruit.
Headlamp,
Trekking poles (recommended).
COSTS
60 RON/adult, 30 RON/child up to 15 years old.
The hike will take place with a minimum of 8 adult participants. Children between 5 and 14 years old may participate, provided each child is accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing the difficulty of the route for their children.
TRANSPORTATION
After the registration process is completed, the guide will add you to the WhatsApp group where we will organize and redistribute participants among the cars of those coming by car. Transportation costs will be shared jointly by the occupants of each respective car.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
