Dear hikers,
We invite you to a hike dedicated to children, mothers and fathers, with the theme “Survival techniques for children and mushroom picking”.
We will spend an afternoon in nature, where the little ones will discover, through play and practical activities, basic notions about orientation, hiking safety and survival in nature. At the same time, we will learn to recognize the main species of mushrooms encountered along the route and discover the beauty of the forests of Păltiniș.
A guided hike, full of educational and fun experiences, suitable for the whole family.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?

For participants who do not have their own transport, the meeting point is the Pensiunea Dumbrava parking lot – Sibiu, at 14:30, from where we will leave together towards Păltiniș.
Those who prefer to come by personal car can join us at the Păltiniș Chairlift, at 15:30.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Location: Păltiniș
Route difficulty: easy
Experience duration: approximately 3–4 hours
Recommended age: the activity is suitable for children and families.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Waterproof mountain boots;
- Clothing adapted to the season, in several layers;
- Thermal layer;
- Spare T-shirt and socks;
- Bottle with water or tea (minimum 1 litre);
- Food and fruit.
Recommended:
- Trekking poles.
COSTS
80 lei/person – includes guiding and instruction.
50 lei/child (up to 14 years old), if accompanied by an adult.
TRANSPORTATION

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
