Leave behind the hustle and bustle of a working day and treat yourself to an evening just for you! We invite you to a summer experience where relaxation, nature and the starry sky come together to offer you exactly the moments you need.
For this event, Castelnor Resort has prepared a special surprise for our group: SPA access for only 150 lei/person, a facility that is not normally available to guests who are not staying at the resort.
We will relax in the outdoor pool, with spectacular views over the forests and villages of Mărginimea Sibiului, as well as in the SPA area. We will enjoy dinner from the à la carte menu in the light of the sunset, and once evening falls, we will set off on an easy hike through the forests and clearings of Păltiniș to admire one of the most spectacular phenomena of the summer – the Perseid meteor shower, in a peaceful atmosphere, far from the city lights.

Departure will take place at 17:00, from Pensiunea Dumbrava Sibiului, and we will travel by personal cars towards Castelnor Resort in Păltiniș.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Route: Castelnor Resort – the clearings and forests of Păltiniș (circular route)
Distance: approximately 6–10 km (depending on the group’s preferences)
Elevation gain: approximately 300–400 m
Route difficulty: easy
Hiking duration: approximately 3–4 hours
Total duration of the experience: approximately 6–8 hours
Recommendation: The route is suitable for people with a minimum level of physical fitness and does not include any technical sections, making it ideal for an evening hike at a relaxed pace.
The event is intended both for those who only want to join the hike and for those who choose the complete experience, including the SPA and dinner.
The route is accessible and will be adapted to the pace and preferences of the group.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Mountain boots;
- Day backpack;
- Spare T-shirt;
- Cap or hat;
- Jacket and rain poncho;
- Flashlight or headlamp;
- Trekking poles (recommended);
- Whistle;
- Minimum 1.5 litres of water;
- A snack for the route.
For those choosing the SPA option:
- Swimsuit;
- Towel;
- Slippers.

Accommodation (optional)
Participants who wish to extend the experience can stay at Castelnor Resort.
For hiking participants, the hosts have offered us a preferential rate of €160/double room/night, the lowest available rate. Access to the SPA and outdoor pool is included in the accommodation price.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
