Dear hikers,
We invite you to a hike in the Cindrel Mountains, dedicated to the Little Mountaineers (and not only!).
The hike is of medium difficulty and follows a relaxing and picturesque circuit route, with numerous viewpoints in all directions. We will start from Valea Caselor, climb towards Poiana Trandafirilor and Măgura Peak, and at the MGS Cabin we will take a longer break, with the option of enjoying the “house specialities”. The route continues towards Derjani Peak, before returning to Valea Caselor.
The route we will follow is: Valea Caselor – Poiana Trandafirilor – Măgura Peak – MGS Cabin – Derjani Peak – Valea Caselor.

ROUTE INFORMATION

- Elevation gain: approximately 800 m
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- waterproof mountain boots, above the ankle
- light rain and wind protection
- rain poncho
- thermal layer
- sun protection (sunglasses)
- bottle with water/tea (minimum 1 litre)
- sandwiches and snacks

COSTS
80 lei/person
For children up to 14 years old, participation is free of charge if accompanied by an adult. The tour will take place with a maximum of 20 participants.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
