Dear hikers,
We invite you to a hike dedicated to the Little Mountaineers (and not only), where we will discover together some of the most beautiful hidden trails in the Cindrel Mountains.
The hike is of medium difficulty and is designed for families and for all those who wish to spend a day in nature, exploring the forests and spectacular landscapes of the Cindrel Mountains.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Sunday, 19.07.2026, at 09:00, in the Motel Dumbrava parking lot (near Hotel Hilton).
ROUTE INFORMATION
Route difficulty: medium
Elevation gain: approximately 800 m
Hiking duration: approximately 7 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- mountain boots;
- rain/wind clothes;
- thermal layer;
- spare T-shirt;
- cap or buff;
- rain poncho;
- sunscreen and sun protection (very important);
- bottle with water or tea (minimum 1 litre);
- sandwiches, snacks and fruit.
Recommended:
- trekking poles.
COSTS
80 lei/person
Children up to 14 years old participate free of charge, if accompanied by an adult.
The tour will take place with a maximum of 20 participants.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is arranged by personal cars to the starting point.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
