Dear hikers,
Saturday, 18 July, we invite you to a different experience, combining a relaxing hike with a picnic in a fairytale setting, in the area of Alma Vii village.
We will start from Alma Vii on a circular route, crossing the hills and forests around the village, on an easy hike suitable both for families and for those who want a peaceful day in nature. At the end of the route, we will enjoy a picnic specially prepared for the participants, in an authentic setting in the heart of Transylvania.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
09:30, in front of Mediaș Train Station, Address: Str. Gării, Mediaș
or
10:45, in the center of Alma Vii village, at the beginning of the climb towards the fortified church.

Route difficulty: easy
Distance: approximately 11 km
Elevation gain: approximately 170 m
Total duration of the experience: approximately 4 hours
Minimum recommended age for children’s participation: 7 years
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
- Hiking boots;
- Water bottle;
- Hat/cap.
Recommended:
- Trekking poles.
COSTS
185 lei/adult – the price includes guiding and the picnic (soup, salad, dessert and drinks).
135 lei/child.
The number of available places is limited to 12 participants.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is the responsibility of each participant and is arranged individually.
Those coming from the Mediaș area can leave together from the Train Station parking lot, and participants from other localities are asked to contact the guide if they need support in organizing transportation.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
