Dear hikers,
A journey for the soul, taste and story.
Our final destination is the Green Man Festival in Richiș, where the hosts await us with open arms and a delicious brunch, offered on the house!
It is the perfect reward, full of local flavours, which will recharge our batteries after a day of total disconnection in nature.
But the magic begins long before we reach the feast.
The road there is a story in itself: we start from Biertan, one of the most picturesque Saxon villages in Romania, watched over by its imposing fortified church – a UNESCO monument and a living symbol of harmony between man and nature.
The fairytale route climbs gently on Via Transilvanica, following the old wine road. The trail winds over terraced hills, offering us spectacular panoramas over Biertan, with its medieval towers and reddish roofs that seem untouched by time.
We will walk through meadows and gentle forests, at a relaxed pace, perfect for photos and stories shared with people who have the same values as you.
Cultural stop: Before enjoying the festival, we visit the Evangelical church in Richiș, renowned worldwide for its mysterious sculptures and unique energy.
This tour is more than just a walk; it is a return to simplicity, to tradition and to the joy of living authentic moments.
