Dear hikers,
We invite you to spend a wonderful day in nature with the little ones, on a guided hike along the spectacular “Road of the Cannons”!
We will set off together on a route accessible to children, mothers and fathers, enjoying fresh air, beautiful landscapes and moments spent as a family. Along the way, we will discover interesting stories and places, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
At the end of the hike, we will stop for a picnic at Cabana Barcaciu, where we will have time to rest, socialize and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
We warmly invite you to turn this outing into a memorable experience for the whole family!
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 13.06.2026, we will meet at 8:30 in the parking lot of Thalia Hall in Sibiu, for participants who do not have their own transport. Those coming by personal car can join us at 9:30, at Brândușa Farm in Valea Avrigului, from where we will set off together towards the route.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Waterproof mountain boots
Clothing adapted to the season, in several layers
Thermal layer
Buff and gloves
Spare T-shirt and socks
Bottle with water or tea (minimum 1 litre)
Food and fruit for the route
Recommended:
Trekking poles
COSTS
80 lei/person for guiding and instruction.
For children up to 14 years old, the participation cost is 50 lei, if accompanied by an adult.
TRANSPORTATION

Note:
– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

I acknowledge that the photos may be used for promotional purposes, both online and in printed materials, within the “Anii Drumeției” Program to promote it. I declare under my own responsibility that, to the best of my knowledge, I am physically capable of sustained physical effort during hiking events without jeopardizing my health in any way. My participation in this event is entirely voluntary, understanding the associated risks to which I expose myself.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
