Dear hiker,
We invite you to a hike through spectacular forests and hills, on the Via Transilvanica, in the heart of the Hills of Transylvania.
We set off from Moșna, pass through Nemșa, and enjoy the fresh green landscape, flower-filled meadows, and authentic scenery. We discover the charm of the Saxon villages, with valuable heritage and local curiosities.
We arrive in Richiș, where the official opening of the “Popas Omul Verde” restaurant will take place, and we will attend a larger event marking the opening of the tourist season in Richiș, where we will be invited at 14:00 to a brunch with local delicacies.

WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 23.05.2026 at 08:00, from the Hornbach parking lot, using personal cars, heading toward the village of Moșna
ROUTE INFORMATION
Distance: 11–14 km. The route can be adjusted depending on the group’s preferences.
Elevation gain: approx. 300 m
Trail difficulty: easy
Hiking duration: 4–5 hours
Total experience duration: 7–9 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Spare T-shirts, pants, and socks, hiking boots, rain poncho, hiking poles (recommended), sun cap, sunscreen, insect spray, whistle, water bottle min. 1.5 liters, bars, magnesium
COSTS
80 RON / adult – participation in the hike.
40 RON / child
Optionally, the church in Richiș can be visited – entrance will be free
For those who wish to also participate in the Green Man Dinner – at 19:00 – the cost will be 120 RON/person.
All other planned activities will be offered free of charge.
Transportation and personal consumption will be paid separately and independently.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
