Dear hikers,
We will set off from Rășinari, from the playground on Barcianu Street, and leave the village in the direction of the Trăienei hamlet. We will climb to the roadside cross on the hill, then continue toward the marked trail on the ridge of Dealul Ganța, setting up “camp” at the resting place on the ridge. From here we will also make a short visit to Giants’ Fortress, learn its story, then return to camp, where we will organize a mountain workshop for the little ones, and not only for them. We will talk about the types of markings found on mountain trails, how we assess route difficulty, and what a hiker should always have in their backpack when going into the mountains. After the workshop, we will descend toward Rășinari on another path on the southern side of the hill, and return to the starting point.
The hike is suitable for people with a minimum level of physical fitness and for children aged at least 5.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet in the morning, at 10:00, in the parking lot of Pensiunea Dumbrava Sibiului, near the Hilton Hotel
From there we will travel by personal cars to Rășinari, where we will park near the playground on Barcianu Street.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Waterproof hiking shoes with good grip;
Season-appropriate clothing, including a final waterproof layer;
Small daypack;
Spare T-shirt or base layer;
Cap / hat, sunglasses;
Water bottle, minimum 1 l.;
An energy bar or a piece of fruit would also be welcome.
Trekking poles can be helpful.
TRANSPORTATION
We can provide round-trip transportation for a limited number of people. To reserve a seat, please contact us by phone at 0722-177001 after completing the registration.
After the registration process is completed, the guide will create a WhatsApp group where we will organize and redistribute participants among the cars of those coming by car. Transportation costs will be shared jointly by the occupants of each respective car.
COSTS
70 RON/adult, 40 RON/pupil or student, 20 RON/child between 5 and 10 years old.
The hike will take place with a minimum of 8 adult participants. Children between 5 and 14 years old may participate, provided each child is accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing the difficulty of the route for their children.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
