Dear hiker,
On March 8, we’re heading out on the trail for a medium-level hike, just for women, from Sadu (Masa Verde) to Tălmăcel, via Pleașa Peak, the Câmpșorului Meadows, and Dealul cu Pini, in the Lotru Mountains. The route passes through old meadows of Mărginimea Sibiului, once used by the Saxons who climbed here carrying their festive chests.
From above, the trail opens wide views toward the Cindrel, Lotru, and Făgăraș Mountains. It’s a day of steady walking, deep breaths, and gazing into the distance. A day just for you, among meadows and open landscapes, with feminine energy, good vibes, and a small surprise at the end.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Sunday, 08.03.2026, 09:00, Kaufland Șelimbăr parking lot, Shopping City.
We will group up in personal cars and head toward the village of Sadu.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Level: medium.
Approximate elevation gain: 600 m.
Approximate distance: 14–15 km
Hiking duration: 5–6 hours
Total experience duration: 7–8 hours.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Spare T-shirts, pants, and socks, mountain boots, hiking poles (recommended), rain poncho, waterproof jacket and pants, hat, gloves, water bottle (minimum 1 liter), food, whistle, headlamp
We recommend dressing in layers, as mornings are cool and the temperature will rise during the ascent.
COSTS
Guiding: 80 RON/person
Those who wish can opt for a meal at the end of the hike, with homemade dishes prepared by the Rotaru family. We will choose the menu together after the group is formed and before the final date is set.
Food options:
1. Grilled chicken and pork, with potatoes and salad
2. Roast meat, with potatoes or rice and salad
3. Grilled trout, with potatoes
Drinks and dessert (included in all options):
Blueberry liqueur
Coffee or tea

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
