Dear hikers,
On November 15, we will embark on a cultural tour through a wine-growing region located at the border between Sibiu and Alba counties. Afterwards, we’ll head to Apold for a walk through the Apoldium wine estate, followed — for those interested — by a wine tasting.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We’ll meet in the morning at 9:30 in the parking lot of Kaufland Sibiu Veteranilor (at the exit from Sibiu toward Șura Mare). After a short presentation of the day’s schedule, we’ll group into cars and drive toward the village of Câlnic.
ROUTE INFORMATION
• The tour is easy, suitable for participants of all ages!
• No special technical equipment is required for this trip!
• Duration of the excursion: approximately 5–6 hours.
• Those interested in joining the wine tasting at Apoldium Winery are kindly asked to contact me at 0720003332 to discuss details about the trip’s logistics.
• Participants who cannot travel with their own car are asked to contact the guide for carpool arrangements!
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Water/tea bottle, minimum 1 L;
Season-appropriate clothing;
Snack for a break halfway through the route;
Hat and sunscreen;
COSTS
80 lei/adult participant.
Children between 6 and 14 years old pay a participation fee of 20 lei!
Those interested in the wine tasting will need to pay a 70 lei/person fee directly at Apoldium Winery.
Participants wishing to join the wine tasting must inform the guide at least 3 days before the event.
For those participating in the wine tasting, we can rent a minibus, with the cost shared among all participants.
The wine tasting will be organized for a minimum of 10 participants!

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
