Dear hiker,
Route: Șeica Mică – Agârbiciu; a light tour open to everyone – from young to old.
Autumn paints the Transylvanian hills in warm shades of bronze and gold, offering fairytale landscapes. We start from Șeica Mică on a gentle walk along Via Transilvanica, among rolling hills, rusty pastures, and multicolored forests, enjoying the peace of the countryside trails.
At the end, in Agârbiciu, we will visit Father Madaras Nicolae’s dairy farm – an authentic place where tradition and skill give life to natural cheeses, both fresh and aged. We will discover the story of the place and enjoy a tasting of pure flavors, served with soul.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 25.10.2025, at 09:00, in the Hornbach parking lot.
We will group into personal cars and head towards the village of Șeica Mică.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Elevation gain: 200 m
Hike duration: 3–4 hours
Experience duration: 5–6 hours
Distance: 9–10 km
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
T-shirts, pants, and spare socks; mountain boots; rain poncho; water bottle (min. 1 liter); food; whistle; headlamp; trekking poles (optional). It’s best to dress in layers, as mornings are cooler and midday is warmer.
COSTS
Participation in the hike: 80 lei adults and 40 lei children
Optional: cheese and local food tasting, based on donation. Recommended amount: 50 lei.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
