Dear hiker,
A hiking circuit through the Natura 2000 site of the Hârtibaciu Valley, crossing cool forests and meadows with wide views of the Făgăraș Mountains. The day ends on the ridges, with a spectacular sunset over the hills, and the evening continues with the vibrant atmosphere of the Holzstock music festival in Hosman.
This festival spans three evenings, from 16:00 to 23:00, featuring Romanian and international artists from indie, post-punk, alternative, and more. Each day brings fresh music and experimental energy, in a unique setting – the fortified church courtyard in Hosman.
Festival entry is based on a ticket valid for all three days of the event. The only exception is within the Hiking Year program, when for this specific evening a special rate of 100 lei/person applies.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 23.08.2025 at 13:30, Ștefan cel Mare Street, Trei Stejari near Profi supermarket.
We will carpool and head to Hosman, near the fortified church, where the hike begins.

Level: easy/medium
Elevation gain: 250 – 300 m
Hike duration: 4 – 5 hours
Experience duration: 7+ hours
Distance: 14 km
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
T-shirts, trousers and spare socks, mountain boots, rain jacket, cap, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle 1.5 l, snacks for the hike, whistle, flashlight. Layered clothing is best, as midday is warm and evenings cooler.

Guiding: 80 lei/adult, 40 lei/child for the hike

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
