Dear hiker,
A journey through authentic landscapes, among barns, hayfields, and mountain ridges, with a delicious finale!
This beautiful hike will take us through the Land of Wooden Barns, a picturesque area where we’ll cross hayfields and alpine pastures, constantly accompanied by spectacular views as we make our way to Hansa Peak. We’ll follow a pleasant and accessible trail and enjoy close-up panoramas of the Făgăraș, Căpățânii, Latorița, Cindrel, and Lotru Mountains.

For those who wish to continue, we’ll have the option to explore other ridges in the area, depending on the group’s preferences.
After the hike, we’ll reach the Lotrioara Valley, where we’ll be welcomed with warm hospitality by our hosts at Pensiunea Rotarii. Here, we can relax and enjoy the most delicious roast, prepared in the unique mountain style – a true reward after an active day outdoors.

Saturday, 17.05.25, starting at 08:30 AM from Sibiu, in the Kaufland Shopping City Șelimbăr parking lot, heading to Lotrioara Valley in personal cars.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Mountain gear is mandatory: spare t-shirts, socks, and pants, high-ankle hiking boots, rain poncho, waterproof jacket and pants, hiking poles (recommended), sun hat, whistle, water bottle (min. 1 liter), snack for the trail.

Participation fee: 80 lei for adults and 40 lei for children
Optional: Roast or vegetarian meal at Pensiunea Rotarii – 50 lei/menu

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
