Rășinari is bursting with color, perfect for capturing beautiful shots and stepping into the world of photography!
Gio, our guide “from Mărginime”, will show you the village of Rășinari like you’ve never seen it before! From Rășinari Square—where the “dinMărginime” project came to life during lockdown—to the village museum, the iconic gates of Rășinari, and the local people themselves.
We’ll explore the village step by step, soaking in its charm, and we’ll guide you toward capturing unique and memorable images!
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 9:30 AM in the Zoo Sibiu parking lot.
We’ll group up in personal cars and head to Rășinari.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Level: easy
Hiking duration: 4 hours
Total experience duration: 5 hours
Distance: 4–5 km
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Trekking shoes or boots, sunglasses, a photo camera or smartphone with a good camera, water bottle, and a small backpack/daypack.
COSTS
Guided photo tour – 85 lei
Children under 14 – free of charge!
The number of participants is limited to 12 people.
Optional:
Participants will have the chance to sample locally handcrafted products, available for purchase by donation.

– The route configuration and length will be adjusted according to weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who are not appropriately equipped or who have inadequate physical condition.
– Tours are conducted under safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– Ticket refunds are only provided in case the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.

The “Anii Drumeției” Program is initiated and funded by the Sibiu County Council in collaboration with the Sibiu County Tourism Association. Its main purpose is to improve hiking infrastructure in the county and promote activities specific to ecotourism.
